작가노트

숨바꼭질의 계절 봄이 돌아왔다. 술래에게 잡히면 종료되고 다시 새롭게 시작되는 게임. 사랑은 숨바꼭질 같다. 그 상상의 무한루프에서 숨가쁘게 쫓고 쫓기다 보면 언젠가는 맺어지는 결실. 서로 다른 곳을 바라보는 태초에 시작과 끝이 다른 사람들. 신기루처럼 아름답고 신비롭지만 쉽게 가질 수 없는 사랑을 찾고자 치열한 숨바꼭질이 시작된다. 완결되지 않아야 더 빛나는 사랑이라는 것을 해부하여 전시로 선보인다.

Artist’ s Note

Spring, the season of hide-and-seek, is back. A game that ends when caught by a tagger and starts anew. Love is like hide and seek. If you chase or are chased breathlessly in the infinite loop of your imagination, you will one day bear fruit. People with different beginnings and ends looking at different places. A fierce hide-and-seek begins to find love that is beautiful and mysterious like a mirage, but cannot be easily had. This exhibition dissects that love shines more when it is not completed.
