꽃 &

꽃은 나에게 희망을 말하고 새로운 꿈을 갖게 한다.

시대와 상황에도 흔들리지 않고 한결 같은 모습을 유지하는 그 모습에서 모순되게도 나는 은은한 안도감을 느낀다.

꽃에 대한 기억의 묘사는 그 본연의 아름다움을 음미하는 나만의 의식들이며, 완벽한 결정체에 대한 감사의 오마쥬이다.

다양한 모양과 색을 소유한 꽃은 나의 이색공간의 작은 공허함을 광활한 아름다움으로 바꾸어 주는 마술을 지녔다.
그것으로부터 오랜 시간 잠자고 있던 나의 미감들이 다시 살아나며, 또 다시 꿈을 꾼다.

이번 나의 개인전 주제인 ‘꽃 &’ 은 내가 아닌 꽃이 주체가 되어 아름다움의 폭죽을 터트리기를 바라며, 그 존재만으로도 감사한 꽃들의 행렬에 나만의 경외함을 담아 마련하였다.

늘 사랑한다고 속삭이는 것처럼 내 안에 그 모습 그대로 투영되어 있기를 바라며,

‘꽃 &’ 개인전을 통해 모든 사람들이 희망과 꿈을 나누면서 그 사랑을 느끼게 되기를 기대 해 본다.

2021년 6월 두번째 개인전을 준비하며…

Artist’s Note

Flowers embody our hopes and dreams.

 

The way a flower stays unchanged throughout its lifetime – it gives a sense of relief to us who gaze upon it.

I bring my memories of flowers to the canvas to pay homage to their inherent beauty.

 

The variety of shapes and colors across flowers fill the void of my mind with boundless beauty, and awaken my aesthetic senses and drive to express.

 

I hope that in “Flower &” exhibition we can all be enchanted together by the flowers that I have brought to canvas.

My humble wish is to share with everyone the hopes, dreams and love I have felt through flowers.
